The Boring Stuff
Georgia was born and raised in NYC but has been living in NC since 2006. She has over twenty years of marketing and product launch experience in the music and internet/technology areas. Georgia uses this expertise to help authors and publishers promote their releases and build awareness for their brands and imprints. When not writing or managing the non-profit literary organization YALITCHAT.ORG, which she founded, Georgia visits schools and talks to kids about writing books!
The Fun Stuff
Georgia writes speculative fiction for teens and tweens and even has an adult non-fiction book brewing in that overactive brain of hers. She is also a freelance editor and pretty spooky ghostwriter. When not writing, teaching writing or editing writing–she can be found rounding up 2 kids, 3 Chihuahuas, 1 parrot and 2 teenie weenie frogs. She hopes to sneak another dog into the house without anyone noticing.
The Important Stuff
She supports adoption (people and dogs), music appreciation, reading/literacy, animal rescue, cultural exchange, eco-friendly activities, equal rights for everyone and believes that we must achieve world peace.
